I work for the District and have respiratory issues so am considered high risk. I agree keep the kids and all staff home.

I’m concerned especially for the health and safety of my friend Aubrey Clark, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy

This virus is still to unknown...children may be carriers, who do not show symptoms for all we know and bringing it home to family members with compromised health issues. The last few days there have been reports of a handful of kids that have tested positive for it.

Since I have asthma I am concern for the health of myself and the health of others. My close friend’s father was recently infected and in a hospital for the coronavirus. He is sedated and his lungs are full of fluids. He lives in small town between by Clinton. Unknown of how he contracted it in the middle of nowhere.

Maybe we are over-reacting. But at this point in time, under reacting may cause more harm. Pkease consider not just the children, but the educators and the families these children go home to. One district is offering 10 free meals per child under 18 ( 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches) to be picked up on Monday. Love this idea too for those children who need it.

Keeping kids socially distanced during lunch, passing time, and in classrooms where there is not more than 12 inches of space between students, will be IMPOSSIBLE. Why are we risking kids getting sick OR kids contracting the illness and not getting sick, but passing it on to others?
