Hi Neighbors,

I hope you have all been enjoying your summer. A few of us have gotten together and discussed the possibility of closing Ricardo Road on October 31st for an afternoon block party (12pm-4pm) that transitions into safe, car free trick or treating for our kids (5pm on). We are starting to have a nice little thing going on Ricardo for Halloween, so why not try to build on that?

Josh Anderson who lives on the corner near Seminary has kindly offered to work on a traffic control plan for us in order to close down the street. We will need to submit our plan ASAP because it will most likely take at least 6 weeks to get the plan approved by the county... so we have to get on it if we want to make this happen.

With that, we need YOUR signatures to agree to close the street to thru traffic. Don't worry, your signature does not imply that you won't have access to your house by car all day. Josh will include a small opening for resident traffic only in the traffic plan.
