We want to feel safe at home , and we cannot feel safe when we worry about our children, and the risk of them getting affected by the virus , please help reduce the risk and cancel schools.

With the first confirmed case of covid 19 in Harrisonburg, continuing to hold hundreds of people in the same building would be irresponsible at this point in time. With the virus spreading, while it may not be lethal for the majority of the student body, those who are immunocompromised depend on us in order to stay safe un situations such as this. Social distancing is crucial to herd immunity as of now.

As a parent, I feel it would be unsafe for my children to continue going to a public place of such a large capacity. The most responsible thing to do is to shut down RCPS.
