Longworth Ave. is a busy street and although some measures have been put in place(cross walk, traffic light and signage) to ensure the safety of the children who will cross the street to get to and from the school, and to access the play area, manycommunity members,parents and staffstill believe that extra precautions should be taken. The suggestions is that Longworth be closed during the hours of 8:00am and 3:30pm. Children as young as 4 years old will be crossing this street to attend the school and it is for their safety, as well the safety of the entire student body that this suggestion has been made.
