Awful. The world does not need puppy mills. There are dogs in the streets, in shelters that are looking for a home. Bringing these unfortunate little lives into the world when a family visiting a pet store might just as well bring home a shelter dog... it's just not right. Close this business down!

This is terrible. I am so happy that Lisa began this pettiton. I know she has been doing things like this for all of her life and saving animals has been her priority. The petition signers who wish the owner death or to be caged, he will lose in the end so good job LC for your well written letters & postive vibes. This will happen. Peace!

We must stop inflicting human ignorance and insanity on our animals. This ignorance is staggering and no one has any right. Puppy mills are a health risk for everyone.

I am sorry that your doggie was so sick..:(
TO THOSE WHO HAVE BOUGHT SICK DOGS FROM JUST PUPS -
Were you sold a sick animal?
If the pet store seller tells you the animal is healthy and it in fact turns out not to be (verified by copies of your veterinary bills):
File a complaint with your states attorney general.
File a complaint with the state Better Business Bureau/Consumer Affairs department.
Sue the seller in small claims court for the cost of the animal (if it dies), the additional equipment, etc., you were forced to buy (if, knowing before purchase what proper care entailed, would have resulted in your not buying the animal), and veterinary expenses. The courts don't recognize pet owner "pain and suffering" related to the loss of an animal, so document all expenses.
