I tried to walk through Del Ray today but most side walks are icy and covered in snow. I also noticed that my bus stop is covered in snow and it would be impossible to get to my bus.

The snow plow did not come through my neighborhood until Wednesday and the roads still have snow. It us still icy where I live and it is hard to walk some roads haven't been plowed yet. A lot of people have died from car accident this snow fall trying to get to school, work, ect. It is not safe and we could be risking the lives of people in are community just trying to go to school and work. That is why we should not go to school on Friday January 29 2016.

I don't want the students to stand at their bus stops. Some of them are COVERED in snow. Their backpacks and work will be destroyed. I would say one more day off school would be good for all the plows to plow the roads better and shovel the bus stops.

Additionally, over 30 people have died due to winter storm Jonas. Consequently, we should wait to open school until Monday to prevent all threats of car accidents.
