Cliven Bundy uses his armed supporters to abuse the 2nd Amendment to close public roads and create checkpoints to protect himself from paying the taxes that the rest of us pay to collectively fund a modern, civilized society with a functional infrastructure --- including those very roads. We are asking President Obama and Attorney General Holder to hold Cliven Bundy and his supporters accountable for threatening their fellow citizens and agents of the duly elected government with bodily harm, including death, if they challenge their illegitimate authority. It's time for the Federal Government to stop backing off from those who are violating the law and endangering not only our common interests, but our very democracy. "Patriot" has become a word to be thrown around lightly, just as the word "hero" has. Stand up, sign, and help ensure that we all abide by the same rules. That's how we have survived and continue to thrive as a nation. It's called fairness.
