The Citizen's of Norwell would like the opportunity to vote at town meeting on the new proposed Clipper Community Complex. This new complex is an investment in the Athletic Fields in town. The Community Preservation Committee, an appointed board, has the opportunity to put this on the ballot in May and allow the taxpayers to decide how they would like to spend the money in the account. This is one of the very rare expenditures which the Selectmen, Advisory Board, Rec Department, School Department, Tree and Grounds Department all unanimously support. Your signature on this petition would help the CPC board to understand the town wide support of this project thus allowing this decision to be made by the town and not by a board of 9!
The scope of this project necessitates a transparent process that encourages full participation from the town. Discussions are currently underway with local representatives to ensure that the request for a public vote remains a priority during the next formal review.

The fields are in such bad shape. My kids barely have anywhere to practice anymore. Vote yes on this.
