The process of securing this expansion has been exhausting and progress feels agonizingly slow. I spent the morning drafting another round of emails to the district office because we cannot let them ignore the lack of quality arts-focused high school seats.

My daughter is at MS260 and she loves it. We really need this to keep going through high school so she doesnt have to deal with the crazy hs application process again.
About time. District 2 is way too crowded and these kids deserve a quality school that actually has space.
Arts education is so undervalued. MS260 has been a great place for my son and it only makes sense to add the upper grades.
dont let this opportunity pass. great principal great teachers. just approve it already.
The city is falling behind on seats. Union Square is the perfect spot for this expansion. Let the kids stay where they are comfortable!

YES! We missed out on this for my older one but we really hope this happens for my youngest. The arts focus is what these kids need.
