I support the expansion of The Clinton Middle School for Writers and Artists (MS 260) to a 6-12 school as proposed by Principal Jon Levin. District 2 needs more high school seats; specifically, the district needs more schools that feature an arts-oriented curriculum. This proposed expansion is a logical next step as the school moves to its new Union Square location— a brand new building that will also accommodate a high school.
