  • Climate change is currently influenced by the rate of Co2 present in our atmosphere due to non-eco friendly infrastructure and factories releasing co2 waste (along with cars). The majority of carbon emissions involve humans along with greenhouse gases which involve humans.
  • This epidemic is currently affecting the younger individuals of Australia, animals which dwell in habitats affected/in the path of climate change, elderly individuals who are prone to heat stress, individuals or towns with a low socioeconomic status, and people suffering pulmonary disease such as asthma.
  • The time which climate change and environmental damage occurred was roughly 1750, during the start of the industrial age which prompted fossil fuels to be burned as a source of energy. Although the industrial age in London prompted a large amount of greenhouse/carbon emissions, it was only recently in the mid-19th century which the rate of carbon emissions sky rocketed and right now we are seeing a slight decline
  • There are numerous countries and areas severely affected and threatened by climate change but the most notable are Chad, Somalia, Syria, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Afghanistan (University of Notre Dame-Country Vulnerability Studies). This research has been recorded regarding soil fertility (famines), drought and climate changes, and political/society based issues. Most of these areas are situated in Northern Africa and the Middle East but this study also takes into account the population density in such areas. The areas in the northern poles are also affected by geological shifts in ice shelves and sea level issues prompting rough, stormy seas around these areas making them difficult to reach.
