As a previous employee, I know first hand the consequence of cancelled music events and almost an entire season without love music. Live events are integral to success of local businesses, especially a brewery with such a gorgeous outdoor space. It's good for the consumer, it's better for the business and it's great for the economy. Let's do it!

I would only hope that Middletown would stand behind the other thriving businesses in town (that are NOT owned by the mayor.)

No reason not to permit this for a person trying to start and maintain a business in Middletown. The town needs more if this for growth. It's reprehensible to make it difficult for them!

Terrific place that Middletown is lucky have as a member of their business community...live entertainment, along with amazing food and craft beer would be a huge positive for the city.

Live music is proven to be an economic asset to any business disdrict. I have not read you're local law but I hope these decisions are at the discretion of zoning and planning boards(where proper restrictions can be implemented) and not just a blanket law. Bring the people out of their houses and back into the their community.

This could help bring Middletown and the downtown/surrounding downtown area to the next level. I've watched the city try to revitalize for years and this is an amazing opportunity.
