It would be awesome if Netflix teams up with Vidangel or Clearplay. We hardly watch any movies on Netflix for the lack of the filtering services provided by Vidangel and Clearplay. If we have the choice between watching a movie with offensive profanity or inappropriate sexual content, and not watching a movie at all, we'd choose the later.

Do I need to worry about book publishers taking me to court because I underline passages, skip chapters about characters I don't like, or write my own notes or counterarguments in the margins?!
Do I not have a right to fast-forward through a scene? Should the streaming services be sued for offering paid options that "censor" out commercials?
People ought to have the freedom to edit and regulate the content they consume IN THE PRIVACY OF THEIR OWN HOME (no less) so long as they've not pirated it. That is an implicit right of conscience.

I have been a long time user of the TV Guardian and Clearplay technologies. I am disappointed that ClearPlay has chosen to team up with only Google Play at this time. However, I then became excited about the VidAngel technology which allows us to stream movies & filter out all the objectionable content, especially the religious profanity, but (as I understand the process for using VidAngel, and anyone can correct me if I am wrong) I was disappointed in the way you have to go about buying the movie stream to then sell it back to VidAngel at the buy back price within 24 hours of purchase in order to pay for the video stream as a rental or rental like. It makes me feel as if they are hoping you forget to sell back the movie stream so you can pay full price and own it. I would love to see ClearPlay & Netflix team together and provide a stream filtering capability to their customers - of which I am one. If VidAngel changes their process for renting movie streams then ClearPlay may end up losing many customers. I will give my loyalty to the first company that allows me to stream filtered movies without having to buy and sell them back in order to rent the movie, or the first company which allows me to stream filtered movies from Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu Plus. Please give this option. This is a definite need in today's programming. Many movies have to be avoided due to UNWANTED profanity spewed from the speakers. Thanks.
