Clean Hands = Clean Future
Imagine every time you threw away recyclable materials in the regular trash, you were doing your part to aid in saving the environment. Sounds crazy, right? Well, in some areas in the US, this is very real. Certain parts of Florida, for instance, have a system set up where both residental areas and businesses alike have their trash brought to designated areas to be sorted through. There are two possible ways to figure out who seperates the trash from the recyclables: sanitation department jobs for civilians or prison based jobs for prisoners. This could open up a fair amount of new jobs for citizens or prisoners alike. It may not sound like the most appealing job, but in todays scarce job market in a financial crisis economy any jobs are welcome. Those not seeking employment in this field simply just keep throwing trash away in the same manor. Free up the sidewalks from those recycle bins and just consolidate all the trash into regular trash bins. Thats it. You will be unconsciously aiding in finally cleaning up Massachusetts portion of the environment. So please, take the seconds to sign this petition and join me in bringing this system to our state. Upon gaining 5,000 signatures, I will present this to Senator John Kerry. Thank you in advance, Dylan Ellis
