Clean water birthday project

What a great action and initiative started by people caring for people. Thank you Ian Baz students.

Damn' straight!

First Nations deserve clean water. Our ancestor invaders, murdered, raped, kidnapped, culturally destroyed, experimented on and devastated First Nations in exchange for the horrors we inflicted on them we promised them small pieces of land (which were theirs in the first place) and to care for their growing needs as a community. We have failed them in every respect and we cannot even provide them with clean water? Please provide clean water for Firsth Nations and make it renewable so First Nations can manage it themselves.

We must look after ALL our people, especially our indigenous. They are the soul of this country and it's disgusting that they have to live in worse conditions than a lot of third-world countries. Shame on us for letting this continue.

Great work! I believe many rural communities in Canada require this, First Nations and non-First nations. Many communities in my home province of Newfoundland do not have access to clean drinking water in their homes. The government needs to address these issues across Canada.

Water should be a human right! No one can live without it. Not providing it is like a death sentence.

This really is a basic right, and the shame of Canada that all communities don't have clean drinking water.

I read an article posted on FB (Shared by an Elder) this morning. Your Spirit & determination to stick to this project & follow it through I found really inspirational.

Giant rubber duck or clean drinking water for Canada's 150th? Clean drinking water is an ethical imperative and the state of some of our communities is embarrassing, let's do better Canada!

Water is life, essential for all. Please, we need action.

We have been slacking as a country. For a country with so much freshwater, everyone should have access, especially the first people here. Great work, students! You are the future!
