Clean Up Walerga Marketplace (Winco/Osh Shopping Center)

Hi! I think this petition is an excellent start to getting some action in our area with regard to cleaning up! I started a new group to try and help organize some community action to clean up not just the trash but getting rid of the "riff-raff" and illegal behavior that goes on in the area. This corner center is a disgrace to the neighborhood! Please clean it up. I'm sure it will help with whatever your shoplifting losses are as well. Appearances matter!

I don't shop at Winco since I saw a shopper whose kid poop on the cart and she just changed her cart without wiping it or telling the store employee. I alerted one of the employee but didn't seem to care. I am signing this because my husband like to go to Osh! Thanks!!!

I whole hardly support this petition. I personally do not feel safe going to the shopping center. I go to winco in Roseville instead. My family basically has been attacked by pand handlers while unloading our groceries. Too seeing drug deals going on. It's bad when you have a friend who is a DEA agent and he tells me that they are doing stings in the winco parking lot I. antelope. So I avoid it to keep my family safe. I would love to shop there since it's less then a quarter mile from my house. But my family and safety comes first.

YES!!!! THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE PETITION! Thank you to the author for starting this! All of Antelope is disgusting and there is trash EVERWHERE! It feels like we live in a landfill here! If we can get business/commercial property owners to foot the bill for cleaning up their areas, that will be a huge start!!! Let's get together on this issue!

I work at the Petco and we have been tirelessly trying to figure out who owns the parking lot. Our landlord only deals with the builing and has nothing to do with the parking lot. Osh owns the parking lot up to the yellow line in front of our store. We found out Winco owns the other half and refuses to take care of the portion in front of our store and Moutain Mikes. We are tired of the theives and drug addicts coming into our store as well as the homeless people living out of their cars trying to solicited drugs to our employees and customers. We have called the Sheriff many times and not much has been done. Everyone needs to call Winco corporate and Osh and complain about their parking lot as a whole. We are tired of the crime and are trying to operate a nice store in what use to be a decent part of the area.

As a resident of Antelope, I would like to patronage the local stores and small businesses. Though, in the last few months, it has become apparent that the Winco/OSH and the adjacent parking lots are littered with trash and poorly lit. In addition, customers of these businesses are constantly harasses by homeless groups of people that also feel the need to park day and night in these parking lots. Just last week, there was a shooting and several muggings and grabbed purses. As a single parent, I do not go to these establishments any longer for fear of getting mugged and/or being in the cross hairs of people who feel the need to solve their problems with guns. Please help to clean up the area around and in Antelope (Walerga/Elverta). Thank you, Wendy Pipkins

So many good businesses in that shopping center. I want to continue giving them my business...but not at the price of my safety.

Plz let's fix up this shopping center. My house is in the community behind Winco and we see lots of bad people doing bad things. Let's make our little community safe again!!!

How about an occasional high pressure wash, as well? I take my 71 year old mom shopping there often and even she has commented on how unkept it is. It is not a highlight for our area. In fact, its rather embarrassing. And considering that when you type in directions into a "maps app" , the directions guide you right by there.

I drive all the way out to the Roseville Winco because it's gotten so bad out here.

A clean and safe shopping area in the community is a must for the families that live here.
