Many of you will be familiar with the Gracemere quarry on Lucas street opposit the Le Smileys Daycare. This is a large piece of land that many use as a motorbike track. It is a very scenic area, but some disrespectful people have used this area as a dump. It is littered with rubbish, old, rotting furniture and on the odd occasion I have even found dead or abandoned pets in it.
I am writing this petition that I will send to the council to get this beautiful piece of land cleaned up and put something useful there. I really think we will benefit from having a park for children there and a picnic area. Also a large off leash dog park would be really great as our current dog park is Ted Price Park and it's a tiny fenced of area that is smaller then a standard back yard.

Or at least ban the 4WD and dirt bikes. Constantly waking myself and my baby up.
Put a Tavern and Motel on the Gracemere Quarry.

Turn it into a park if not housing. It looks atrocious.

Make it a park for motorbikes and 4wds! There's already too many parks for kids and dogs.

i am a resident that backs directly onto the quarry on Lucas street. There are always motorbikes and 4x4 vehicles making too much noise. The illegal dumping is out of hand, and the entrance and whole area is disgraceful. Let's clean up Lucas Street and make a dog park or reserve we can all use.
