unexceptable. East Oakland should have regular street cleaning. As a homeowner and tax payer I would like more done to help keep our city clean

Our once beautiful area of the city, East Oakland, has become a personal dumping ground for others. Illegal dumping is not all happening from our citizens either. Please help us keep East Oakland clean. It's where we live so it matters to us.

I contact SeeClickFix weekly about trash dumped in my neighborhood. I am also active on NextDoor. But the problem persists. It's frustrating and time-consuming. Oakland needs more public works employees and parks and rec staff to trim trees and pull weeds. Our streets have suffered too long since the cutbacks years ago.

Fontaine is a routine dumping ground for many people; they brazenly dump furniture and other garbage right in front of the "No Dumping" signs.

We feel that there is not equal treatment in all parts of our beautiful city. It's important to focus extra surveillance and clean up services to East Oakland.

I have been living in East Oakland for 8 years now and I can see how we are ignored. I agree with what Cynthia said, it seems liked there are two separate Oakland's. So sad because we have a beautiful and active community but no support.

As a native Oaklander, raised primarily in East Oakland, it saddens me to see the level of neglect that Oakland officials have allowed to happen in East Oakland. It's as if they believe we have two separate Oakland's... I am so tired of hearing the same political speak about what they will do, if elected... address violence, education, community reach programs, etc. Yet, nothing changes.. where is your compassion, your sense of community, your pride? This is a vibrant, diverse, and unique city that is not being given the opportunity to shine. Let the light shine on all of Oakland and everyone will benefit

When I used SeeClickFix to report incidents near Piedmont Avenue or Park St., the are addressed promptly. Not so much in my own neighborhood. We also pay taxes and would appreciate the service that other neighborhoods receive. When are our street sweeping days?

I clean up the east bound 580 / Keller off ramp at least monthly and it is littered again within the week

The problems I've seen aren't with the folks that live in the neighborhood trashing our streets. It's folks driving by and tossing stuff out the window, flippers throwing furniture and mattresses on the parking stips, and the worst ones are folks from elsewhere that come here to dump truckloads of crap rather than take it to the Davis Transfer Station and pay to dump it.
A litter cleanup will be much appreciated.
