Three and a half years of procrastination, mistakes and neglect is enough. The responsible state government minister needs to urgently meet with the people of Coober Pedy and consider their plight. We are heartbroken watching much of our per capita funding hurtling down the highway to Adelaide for Consultants, Lawyers and Miscellaneous hands-off Committees at the expense of local JOBS. We have had fully trained up skilled workers only to have the Jackson team fire them. It's not like they can get a job in another suburb. This petition and it's circumstances is only a tip of the iceberg. Well done to those involved.

This playground has a lot of meaning for the young parents and kids in Coopedy. Yet it is filthy, unhygienic and a health risk, ah how about sucking more of ratepayers money and just hiring another well payed consultant to clean it up!!!!

I will add to this to pressure wash the equipment. I'm tired of hearing my daughter ask if we can go to the playground this week, has it been cleaned yet mum?

As one of the first focal points when heading into town you want it to be in a decent state. Upgrades, cleaning and functioning toilet are essential
