Help Clean Up California State Beaches!

Every morning the California state beaches are completely trashed.  On my way to go surfing in the morning I see countless plastic bags, soda cans, food wrappers and even broken glass littered throughout the sand and parking lots.  These visitors do not even attempt to use the dozens of trash cans provided by the state.  The restrooms are covered in used toliet paper, discarded clothing and worse.  Every morning I see the state beach employees spend hours cleaning up their mess.

This petition is to create public awareness and to show those who are in charge of our state beaches that something else needs to be done.  I am proposing that there needs to be a "trash patrol" monitoring the beaches to help keep it clean while the visitors are there.  Fines need to be handed out to those that refuse to clean up after themselves.  By utilizing patrols and fines, our beaches will remain clean and increase income to the state beaches.
