Buffalo pass is such a beautiful stretch and has once again become an illegal dumping ground for anyone and everyone. While BCM did try to put some preventative measures up in the past, people still have managed to remove / bypass them. This road is used by so many tourists - I am sure the sight affects their perception of our little town.
I truly hope BCM will make a concerted effort to improve this situation and put proper controls in place to prevent and monitor this area amongst others.

This problem is not confined to Buffalo Pass-Potters Pass and the west bank coastal road are just as bad. Cleaning it is like sticking a plaster on major surgery- two issues need to be addressed- adequate facilities for individuals/contractors to dispose of refuse, and firm municipal policing against littering

It is unacceptable for this area to be reduced to a rubbish dump. This is a green -belt area and it should be treated as such! This area should be protected and maintained at all cost!
