After five years of the city giving the owner(s) of 1179 San Carlos numerous second chances to build on this site it is obvious they are not or can't afford to build. This petition is to direct the city council to instruct city staff to contract with a demolition crew and supervise the removal of the illegal fencing, debris and partially installed foundation and return the lot to its natural state. To use the $7000 security deposit that the owner was made to deposit for such a purpose should he breach one of his "second" chance agreements.

Ridiculous that this lot was not properly handled years ago.
I agree. Either finish building or clean up the lot.
Walk and drive by this lot frequently...an attractive nuisance!
