Water is what people live on daily. It is used for bathing, drinking, food preparation, and washing clothes and keeping our homes clean. We in the U.S. take water for granted. We leave water running as we brush our teeth or wash our cars, and/or dishes. How about turning on the faucet before you shower? Many of Americans do! Have you ever stopped to think how others in different parts of the world use water and if it is even potable? We as a class have decided to help a dire country in need of clean water by petitioning to bring awareness to those in the U.S. of the sub-standard conditions of the water in Dharavi, Mumbai, India.
