As an owner of a small business that has been in this community for 27 years I absolutely do not want a Dollar General to move in and wipe out some of our family owned businesses that make Claysville the wonderful town that it is. Towns like ours with family businesses that support and give back to the community are hard to find, and we are very lucky to have this great town!

Raised in the Claysville area, loved Gashels and Minteers and Maggis and Sprowls. At least two of those are gone now thanks to chain stores one town over. DG would be one more nail in the town's coffin.

No dollar general! It is not need. We are doing just fine without it and it would take away from the beauty and community that is Claysville. We are happy with our mom and pop stores and do not need not want a chain

The mom and pop shops do far more for our community than this will ever do. Not a good thing! Don't allow it

We don't need another dollar store. It's only a fifteen minute drive to one now!

My fear is putting the home town businesses out of business if they put a larger corporation business in. We don't want our family owned stores out of business.

I grew up in Claysville and couldn't imagine seeing minteers market go out of business and know that I didn't do anything to preserve such a big part of my childhood.

With raising my children in the town of claysville wihich still have family values that extended to my young grandkids who visit pap to walk to (candy store) aka minteers market looking forward to the little brown paper bag of penny candy as well as s juicey juice would be sadly missed as well knowing the gallon of milk or stick of butter or a fresh cup of coffee in just a stone throw away not counting the neighborly conversation in regards health and well being of the towns people and the morning greeting from many of the local high school students that have started there opportunities in the work force would be greatly missed save or little hard work town from this large corp. Don't fix something that is no broke
