Petition ID P72459. Clay Hill road in Two Mile Ash is now hazardous and in need of repair work Dear residents of Two Mile Ash, I am sure most of you have noticed the Clay Hill road that runs through Two Mile Ash are in need of repair work. The population in MK continues to grow and in order for bus services to keep up with the growth more busses are introduced and in some cases larger and heavier buses now pass through our roads. How many of you are woken in the early hours of the morning due to the busses heavy vibrations through the roads and into our homes causing damage and disruption to our standard of living?? The vibration is caused by the pitted and damaged roads that have been neglected for years by the council. More importantly, pitted roads are proven to increase the stopping distance and reduce traction between the wheels and surface of the road. The loss of traction and grip could be the cause of death to our children in the case of an emergency stop. There are many schools in that area and from the top end of Clay Hill where the local shops are there is a hill that bends as it reaches the bottom, vehicles travelling around this bend will notice a serious loss of traction due to the pot holes, cracks and continuous pitted road that run the entire length of Clay Hill. The foot paths are also hazardous as they have deep cracks and drops of nearly 10cm in some areas. Come join me in bringing this to the attention of our council to take action and repair these roads and footpaths that are now hazardous and disruptive to our lives by adding your name to this petition
