Clay has been in your school system for his entire life it would be an honor for him to have a chair and for him to receive a diploma we are his grandparents and we would love to be there that night to watch everyone graduate thank you
This is about a young man who lost his life, and his classmates want to honor him respectfully. This shouldn't be an issue it's called RESPECT. Grant these classmates their last wish for this young man because this is their graduating class, and not the administrators.
Clay was loved by so many people, students and staff, and he seemed SO excited to graduate. He deserves to have a seat at graduation with his cap and down and deserves to have his name called, he left such an impact in our community.
Holden had the empty seat when my daughter was in high school. Most kids left their flower in the seat, some kids left their caps. I heard a movie of graduation was made for the family to watch when they were able. Sad your administration feels that way. HOLDEN had a heart!
Having just lost a child to leukemia and knowing all the the “special things “ the school did for her and her sisters it is beyond me why a school would deny one empty seat. Shame on you Knob!

There should be an empty seat out of respect for his parents and grandparents. Alot of schools do this around the country to show respect. I find it disheartening that they have to get a petition going to have this done when it should be an automatic response for the loss of someone's child in remembrance of them..
