My son and our family have suffered greatly over the years due to being prescribed 2 of these terrible drugs. It is time to put a stop to it.

I have been on alazopram for a minimum of 10 years. Zoloft for 2 years. Seroquel for a minimum of 10 years. I was on Effexor for maximum of 4 years. Lexapro for a max of 2 years. I am currently trying to get off of alazopram and it is extremely difficult due to the side effects and withdrawl symptoms. I have significant memory loss. I go through periods of depression or mania. My anxiety is very high. I have become addicted and dependent on Xanax and need to take more to get the same effect. I am also dependent on Seroquel to sleep I have insomnia. I have severe mood swings, irrational behavior at times. I am reckless financially and have no concern for consequences or actions. I have committed many crimes and face many criminal charges. I have numerous prescription drug charges and retail theft charges to pay for my Xanax and prescription drugs. It causes me to be a compulsive liar. This is not the person I am but it is the person I have become due to these medications. Most of the time I'd rather die than keep on living. Have been using Alprazolam,prozac and antivan by doctors order. I am trying to get off the antivan but am having major problems

I have been prescribed these medications for over 20 yrs. "Big Pharma" needs to be stopped and made to pay! The withdrawals of these "medications" are horrifying!

This drug is ruining my life. I am tapering klonopin. I have been on effexor only for a few months. I have experienced nothing but horrible side effects. Too many to list worsening anxiety insomnia muscle twitching brain zaps loss if consciousness and a seizure.

I believe my husband committed suside because he either took Lorazepam too long too often or was trying to come off this drug.

I have withdrawn from Effexor and not had it in my system for almost 3 months and my life is a shambles. I'm about to lose my job I have no memory I can't focus I can't think like a normal person anymore.

Because I am suffering from tardive dysphoria as a result if being prescribed antidepressants fourteen years ago "as a precaution" by an over-zealous GP. I want to raise awareness of the dangers in coming off these drugs once started and of the tendency to over-prescribe, evwn if it is often due to lack of funding of alternatives.

Their class action is for anyone that started antidepressants when they were 18 years or under, and have been adversely affected. Would not recommend Effexor. Has been hell to get off and am still not off the drug,, has caused me alot more problems that i didn't have before i was on it.

yup....I have tried to get a lawsuit against manufacturer of Effexor. Would be all over this.
