Class Action Lawsuit Against Manufacturers of Celexa, Prozac, Zoloft, Effexor, Lexapro, Paxil, Seroquel and Ativan

Help!

Caused me to have multiple seizures including a grand mal seizure

I have and still am taking some of these prescribed antidepressants. They are horrible, but I'm so dependent on them.

My mother was prescribed Prozac. She took the medication for two years. She died of a hemorrhagic stroke. The SSRI drugs may have caused her death. There have been medical studies that have established a link between Prozac and the increased chance of stroke. My understanding is that there is pending litigation. The Parker Waichman law firm suggested that legal action be taken as soon as possible. Any lawsuit must be filed within the applicable legal deadlines (the 'Statute of Limitations'). I would like to set up a consultation with a paralegal or an attorney. I want to discuss the potential case.

My career was ruined and my life is no longer the same because of what benzos have done to myself and my body!

I have been prescribed the benzodiazepine Clonozapam 2 mgs for 12 years now. I have severe memory loss, cannot focus or concentrate. I can read a paragraph about anything and once I'm done reading I have no idea what I just read. It continues to get worse. Memories continue to fade. Special memories of my son growing up are slowly leaving me. It's heartbreaking and these medications should not be prescribed for more than 3 months maximum. My brain is damaged from a medication that was supposed to help me. Now I'm worse.

Ok this is very scary, I have taken large doses of Celexa and Effexor for years and I am now 44 and for over 8 years we have been trying to figure out why I am having a number of crazy symptoms to do with my memory. We have been to 11 specialist and through a ridiculous amount of testing, why would my doctors never have considered the problem to have been these drugs. I have lost my entire life because of my condition, permanently disabled, unable to drive, cannot cook for fear I burn the house down, candles, irons, straightening irons all have to be checked behind me. I can not remember simple things like address, hone number, children's birth dates and so on and my greatest fear is I will have to be admitted to a long care facility before I am 50 because of these issues. All of this from a woman who was a LPN who graduated from college with the highest mark from my nursing program so I was by no means stupid to begin with. Please keep me up to date.

I was prescribed 10mg daily for nearly 13yrs and now have nearly all these symptoms! I think they should have to pay for this because nobody ever warned me about the long term side effects and I went through severe withdrawals for 16 months after admitting myself into inpatient detox from it! Horrible horrible drug that should be banned but unfortunately is still gaining innocent victims!!

I was put on clonazepam and guanfacine by a nuerologist for tourretts 6 years ago. 4.5 mg of clonazepam a day without explaining any side effects other then I may feel sleepy. A year ago the medicine did not help anymore and I asked for help from them. The nuerologist sent me to a psycotherapist and I was told by her I should have never been put on the clonazepam long term. I became concerned and a few months later at my next doctors appointment I requested to come off the medicines. I was given a 1 month taper regimen and sent on my way only after the PA tried and tried to convince me that there was nothing wrong with the clonazepam. It would not have caused my sexual dysfunction and the TRT I had been put on was the problem. 2 weeks into the taper I began to have terrible thoughts and after 3 more days my body started to experiance every withdrawal symptom I have read about. I went to my PCP and was told the taper was too fast and I was put back on more clonazepam a day. I rollercoastered like this for a month or so and went to a different doctor who wanted to stabilize me at even a greater amount. I am feeling better now taking .5 3 times a day for a month to stabilize I can only hope. I am mad I was never told about this and also furious about being tapered in a month. I feel like they were trying to kill me. Please help me. alex rugg

I got prescribed xanax/colonpin in 2004 and that was the worst mistake ever.. I've been on/ off for a total of 7 years! Getting off was so hard for me- withdrawals were painful! I now have severe memory loss(dementia) eye sight issues. Racing thoughts. Sleep deprive, can not function in crowded places! Xanax ruined my 20's early 30's! I'm 36 now! Let's get a class action going! The company and doctors should be ashamed.

I have had serious and dangerous complications from long term use of both Xanax and Effexor.

Dear Jennifer, I have been suffering from terrible pain and wasmtaken to hospital as a result of withdrawl sympto s from lorazapam. I have documented my symptoms from benzos. I was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I have found forum after forum linking lorazapam to fibromyalgia. I have strong reason to believe i have been poisoned by benzos.
