Why is there no year on this petition. I don't know if it is still valid. I have been taking Clonazepam for over 30 years. The original prescribing doctor said I might need to take them for the rest of my life. Newer doctors are reluctant to prescribe it. My body and mind is totally dependent upon this drug. When I titrated off it, after 18 days of pure hell, I had to go to the hospital and the doc put me right back on it. Family practitioners want me off it and one began threatening that he would not prescribe. It terrifies me. I'm 73 years old. I have some of those side effects mentioned here. What can be done about this situation?

We need something to take action against doctors and hospitals that tapered us off of medications too rapidly. That does more damage than the medications.

Lexapro ruined my life. I am lucky I didn't kill myself.

Back in Feb of 2016 I was forced to taper off of 6MGs daily of Klonopin in only 12 days at Beth Israel in Boston. I ended up with nerve damage and horrible tinnitus. At times my whole body feels like an exposed nerve. I was on a high dose of Xanax for 18 years. You don't take someone that was on a benzo that long and do such a fased forced taper. My life is ruined because of those idiots!

Klonopin has ruined my life. It's the muscle relaxer from hell.

My wife's life has been a nightmare due to these drugs. She's currently tapering to get off of them. These drugs are legal and worse than some of the major illegal narcotics and these companies know it.
