Class Action Lawsuit Against Manufacturers of Celexa, Prozac, Zoloft, Effexor, Lexapro, Paxil, Seroquel and Ativan

Ive been on clonazepam and Venlafaxine or something like it for approximately 15 years now and I have been unable to stop taking either of these medications because of the withdrawal effects....I feel like I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't. These medicine have ruined my life.

I suffer from a few of those side effects but I am still on the medication.

I’ve had multiple problems from taking Clonazepam for years.

I am a 28 year old female who have been suffering from geneaidd anxiety disorder for years . I finally decided to seek medical help. I was prescribed Effexor/riva venlafaxine 7 months ago for anti anxiety purposes. After a month or 2 I kept getting weird side effects and it seemed my anxiety would sneak thru, along with horrible side effects like muscle weakness, constipation, and increased sensitivity to bruising, along with memory loss and sleep walking. After I had my dose increased to 75mg , after a month I felt it needed Increasinb again. So this time I google researched what was going on ans I stumbled upon MANY awful stories and a class action lawsuit against it. I decided I wasn’t taking it for another day. I knew that whether I tapered or went cold turkey, it wasn’t going to change much in terms of withdraw effects. I experienced the brain zaps, vertigo, and involutary emotional fits of rage, extreme happy and fits of crying. Anything could be a trigger. A few times during stressful situation I contemplated suicide , I cried and thought of all the bad things in my life but I didn’t quite go that far. Unfortunately I had an event with friends, we had some drinks and by the time we got to the club I realized my purse was gone which had my cellphone ( which contains my life) and all of my money and cards. I frantically left and searched for my purse outside , and ran home to rip my apartment apart to see if it was there but I knew it wasn’t . At this point the situation made my brain snap and I decided this is it and I didn’t want to move on in life anymore . I couldn’t handle not having my phone and certainly was in a financial rut which I knew would have not allowed me to obtain a new phone for a long time. My friend who is also my neighbor, showed up to help me look for it and she said I was crying , inconsolable and grabbed my bottle of Quetiapine (which was prescribed to me for the Effexor withdrawal symptoms) and I swallowed around 40-60 pills es

A loved one went to the hospital with the flu. She acquired pneumonia in the hospital. Once she was finally better, she was given Seroquel to sleep. She was supposed to go home the next day. She never woke up.

Been on Celexa since 2009. I've experienced several of the symptoms listed below. I would not recommend this medication to anyone

I had a heart attack in 2001 and the va said it was do to anxiety (ptsd) and they put me on lorazepam 15 years later they ask me why I been on it so long (their the ones that gave it to me)and then they took me off of it I have a lot of health issues and wondering how much of it came from that

I was given ativan while in the hospital. Needless to say, a few day stay turned into 15 days of being hospitalized.

My husband Donald was given Ativan to quiet him after neck surgery. He ended up in the hospital 37 days and in rehab 14 days. He is mentally impaired now, although he was fine the day of the surgery. The doctor wrote him off as hospice because they kept him so drugged to keep him quiet that he was in a stupor. It's been almost three years, and they permanently damaged his cognitive ability. The drugs did it.

Suffering from Effexor Withdrawal

I seen on tv to call a number if you were taking abilify and developed a gambling addiction. That there was a class action lawsuit. I developed a gambling addiction and I swore it was because I had started taking effexor. This was two years ago. I weaned myself off of it and people thought I was crazy. But My life is in complete ruins now, so yes I will sign this petition.

I had to come off the Lexapro immediately without titrating down due to intestinal issues. The doctor that prescribed me the Lexapro and Xanax this past October 2017 told me she would no longer prescribe me Xanax left me out to dry I have been off it for four months now with excruciating side effects that don’t seem to be going away. I have reported the doctor to my insurance not sure it’s going to do anything. I as well as many others and living in a nightmare This doctor had no regard for what she was putting me on and when she thought her license was going to get pulled she stopped prescribing it to me and hung me out to dry literally

I have suffered horrible side effects
