Class Action Lawsuit Against Manufacturers of Celexa, Prozac, Zoloft, Effexor, Lexapro, Paxil, Seroquel and Ativan

My Primary Care Physician prescribed Ativan to me for sleep and continued to fill the prescription for over 25 years with no conversation regarding the addictive nature of this drug or that it should be used short term. I am now suffering devastating physical and psychological effects of this drug which should be banned.

My mother was put on Ativan. She began to have several severe side effects. Out of it couldn't feed herself incontinent. Prior she was alert like you and I. I told the Nurse and Dr not to give it again. Dec 24th 2011 the nurses double dosed her. When they got her up in the sit stand lift she was out of it couldn't stand fell shattering right hip and cervical bones died dec 28th 2011

I've suffered side effects for several years from Ativan. I've tried to ween off this medicine with doctor's help but I've never been successful. I have a dependency to this medicine.

My mother committed suicide as a result of Ativan withdrawal.

Memory impairment,depressed,feeling separated from self ,back and forth to hospital for swelling of lips and tongue from lorazepam

Ativan...2 times they have over used it in the hospital...now he ended up being intubated...this is his wife Julie ..they say it's there 1st go to for alcohol withdrawal...some nurses just kept giving it to him and he got worse and worse...then I over heard a doctor in the morning saying some patients have adverse effects it makes them nuts.. And then my husband had to be intebuted

I took lorazepam for 4 months.and tardive dyskinesia. I lost all my teeth, cant swallow good,cant chew food . hard time drinking and nerve damage in esophagus throat, stick tongue with no control. Depressing and embaressing. Plus shakes.

I was prescribed 3 benzodiazepines and have been left in them long term. I now have a dependency/addiction to them and despite my best efforts have been unable to come off due to the horrific withdrawal syndrome associated with benzo withdrawal.
