These drugs are all awful. Sertraline & Citalopram contributed to suicidal ideation as does mirtazipine.

I have used celexa which caused me to be diabetic. I am still on benzodiazepine (clonazepam) and on lexapro from last couple of years. All issues are their and life is hell due to which their is no income. Even SSD denied my benefits because schmuch doctors wrote I was laughing on my last visit.

one year off Paroxitine 20 mg after 5 years of use. Everyday Akathisia, movement disorders, Parkinsons like symptoms, neuropathy like depression, nonstop fearful crying everyday, still fighting with no hope for tomorrow. There is NO magic bullet! These drugs are blasted on late night TV when most people with sleep issues are tuned in. There are a lot of vulnerable people up at night that can be brainwashed into thinking that there is some magic pill that will fix their woes. They are handed out like candy by doctors who have no idea of the damage that they can do because they rely on what the drug reps tell them instead of doing the homework themselves. Nothing but hard work with fix us, learning to cope with everyday stress, dealing with our childhood trauma that we have carried into adulthood, eating properly, staying active, giving ourselves a purpose in the haze of society trying to label us all sick and pushing their agenda of poisons to our aging and our precious children! I am an empath. I have strong emotions and feel deeply about everything. As my mother would say I wore my heart on my sleeve growing up. I was labeled bi-polar, depressed. I had HCV for 30 yrs and diagnosed with cirrhosis but wasn't told about it till years later! I was devastated, the one thing I was hoping I would not get! I was lacking coping skills to handle it! I lost my job I had been at for 15yrs, had separated and divorced from my spouse of 30 yrs, moved in with parents, took care of them, lost another job because I didn't fit into the "group". Went on disability because my cognition was getting worse, and doing treatment for HCV. Diagnosed with RA and osteo...lost my dad and my mom two years after that. It builds up, but these drugs are NOT the way to heal!!!!!! My cognition is even worse now, my sex drive it NIL. I managed to get off. Psychotropics are only a band aid, they will not heal or cure anything and actually cause more harm than good! Ask those who are trying to get off them what happened! That is why they say you have to take it the rest of your life...because they DON'T KNOW HOW TO SAFELY TAKE YOU OFF THEM!!!!! Some of these drugs they gave me in my 30s and they almost killed me. They made me sicker, not better.

I was misdiagnosed mentally ill following a hysterectomy and was just having surgically induced menopause at 32 years old. For 24 years I was tricked into thinking I was ill only to find out it was the meds and the susequent withdrawls causing all my problems, to numerous to list. I am 100% psych med free for 4 months. i Have been taking these for 30 years and am suffering several symptoms and feel addicted to them. Please help me get off of Sertraline. Venlafaxine is extremely dangerous. Missing even one dose caused intense pain, nausea, confusion, and detachment from reality. While on venlafaxine I experienced horrifying nightmares of being tortured and killed repeatedly. It made me sleep 16 hours a night.

These drugs are causing more trauma than any kind of help!
