Antidepressants in benzodiazepines destroyed my health and my life

Forced to take this if wanted to get out of hosp. Made me worse!!! Once out of hosp weaned off and felt so much like me again!!! Then Dr wanted me on zyprexa. No way! I've been good since lamotragine finally tapered up to 150mg. Feel like a human study. Guineas pig for pharma now. When first give I noticed 2 pills were bigger with little silver pieces in them. Asked, just take them. I was told. All of us there were put on that same med!! I finally tapered off. But I wonder about the now? Has cost me everything. Home, family, animals in shelter now I am too.

The withdrawal syndrome symptoms for Effexor are unbearable.

My 17 year old daughter, Isabella, who was suffering from anxiety and difficulty sleeping, was prescribed Prozac after which she not only developed insomnia and consequently memory dysfunction and an extreme hives reaction, but also in desperation to get some sleep managed to obtain morphine. This was totally unlike her normal character, she was a Young Leader at Guides, mentored Yr 7 & 8's at school where she was also on the Pupil Council. She developed QT prolongation which made her drowsy ( I thought she was just tired after 3 weeks of exams) and had a fatal cardial arrest. Her toxicology did not show any excess of free morphine. The inquest concluded a 'drug related' cause of death. Benzodiazapines are more addictive than heroin and the Cochrane Group, who conduct independent examination of pharmaceutical studies have concluded that the academic results put forward regarding Prozac show considerable bias. My daughter's friends are now missing their ' Designated Driver ' - their nickname for Izzie as she was their reliably sober and sensible agony aunt. Sleep deprivation is used as a form of torture to successfully elicit information as it renders prisoners rational thought incoherent; Prozac induced insomnia is just as psychologically damaging. Prozac literally destroyed my daughter; despite only having a licence to treat mild depression it is prescribed off label for almost every conceivable mental ailment and in the UK is particularly aimed towards minors. It is a crime and my beautiful daughter deserves justice.

I'm going through heavy withdrawal and they won't give me my Klonopins anymore. This just needs to stop I do not want anyone else see going through this

When I was 19 prozac left me unable to feel love/joy but it was amitriptyline that finished off what was left of my emotions. 6 years on and they show no sign of returning,despite being long off of the drugs. These medications are dopamine diluters and their primary goal is to reduce emotional pain by wiping out all trace of hedonic feeling. Positive or negative emotion, these drugs don't discriminate.The fact that medication induced emotional numbing is not listed as a side effect after all these years is a disgrace and prevents adequate solutions being sought. I am sure pharma has been aware of the incidence of emotional blunting since the advent of these drugs.

Have med records going back 03. Have issues still today. Hate them meds.

I was on sevral of these. Have med records going back to 03 showing so. Did time for bad reaction to effexor. Got court papers for that to. I still have problems. Not doing well. Alone and both in or nobody to help or support network. Cave Junction family practice. My pcp. That stuff permanently messed me up.

Harmed by wellbutrin and benzodiazepines

Been on seroquel for ten years. Having distressing side effects from withdrawal. Will have to go to detox to withdraw. Was never to not stay on this drug for long periods of time. Horrible. Shame on these companies, shame.

I feel like these medications have ruined my life. I wasn’t warned about the side effects and horrible withdrawal symptoms.

Suicidal on effexor. Doctors have it down as allegry drug for me

Gabepentin should be banned!!!!!

Venlafaxine. A vile, dangerous drug and I believe the drug company knew this & hid the harm.

Lexapro has wrecked my life. If I try to wean off of it, I go through intense bouts of anxiety and suicidal thoughts, become physically I'll, get "ticks", and feel as if I am losing my mind. NO DRUG that has been giving a "thumbs up" by the FDA should EVER produce side effects like this. The FDA should be sued as well!

I have tried to go off the drug Citalopram which is Generic for Selexa. I even blamed my side effects on a different drug i tried to replace it with because of the severe depression i wud experience and go back on the drug. Until i read ur petition and saw the same exact thing i had experienced . If the Generic drug i take is the same thing then i would definintly like more info ...
