My husband has been taking Remeron for about 1 year and it has literally destroyed our wonderful marriage of 21 years. He is still in toxic psychosis and I am now forced to leave our marriage because he claims he wants a divorce. His behavior has escalated and he continues to not be able to have rational thoughts, is spending money erratically and has at times become very aggressive just to mention a few of his behavioral issues.

My husband drove himself to ER on February 13 telling me he had overdosed on Lorazapam. Although he told hospital he was suicidal, they released him. He took his life the next morning.

I've suffered a lot of those side effects. Recently I was in the hospital. The doctor stopped my Xanax cold turkey and have me Ativan. Then abruptly stopped the Ativan and then only gave me .50mg of Xanax. I had two seizures, the second one resulting in a fall causing me to sustain a Traumatic Brain Injury. I was also on Lexapro at the time.

Sadly I've been taking Ativan ( lorazepam) since I was 16. It was given to me for anxiety which on fact was not panic attack at all but low potassium. I had a eating disorder. Along with it I was also given imovane. Let me tell you using as directed put me out. Nothing could wake me. 2mg lorazepam and 7.5 imovane. Fast forward in my 30s I stopped the imovane. Which was real hard. Then the loazapm I had such a hard time. My doctor said no take as directed. That was 2mg up to 4xa a day. I'm not exaggerating my memory of those periods are slim to none. I blacked out I had outbursts . I've since stopped it cold Turkey. I dont know what a full nights sleep is. I toss I turn I'm restless my nerves are so bad. I have terrible nightmares and my memory is so bad. I do something dont remember than a week or two later it comes back . It's so terrible.. if I as a 16 year old knew the risks I'd have never taken it. You trust the doctors .

I was on Ativan for an extended period of time (high dosage, despite my very slim build) for years as a teenager to help cope with my debilitating anxiety. All this medication did was put me into a major brain fog all the time & destroy my concentration/focus, memory retention, & information recall. It’s been over a decade and I still struggle immensely with remembering even the most simple information/instructions. I get lost constantly because directions are a huge problem for me. This drug has been the biggest struggle of my entire life. I wouldn’t take a single Ativan pill again for a million dollars. This company needs to be help accountable!!!!

I am trying to wean off of Effexor. I’ve gained so much weight. My body twitches uncontrollably. I don’t care about important things like taxes or my bills. If i miss a dose I am a horrible mean person. This is a terrible drug. Weaning off will takes months. Thank god my family is supportive.
