Finally completely off all antidepressants and bipolar meds since this summer!! I am back!!

I think there is a huge disconnect between the symptoms we are experiencing and the education our prescribing doctors have. Outdated titration techniques, over prescribing these meds when other options have not been looked into, disregarding patient testimony. It is frustrating and unendingly lonely. I beg of you, look into these claims. I wish I could get the last ten years of my life back.

I was on Lexapro for many years, and a second drug. Stopped them, approximately, 2015 when my ALT/AST climbed. My,psychiatrist told me, he wasn't worried about the rise over several lab tests. It took me awhile for that to sink in!!!

I was prescribed a Benzodiazipines, Klonopin, for 25 years then had to go cold turkey off it. No one should have to go thru what I did.

I have had symptoms from the list after taking Lexapro.

I have a neuropsychological evaluation to support my cognitive impairment due to Lexapro.

Put on in May of 1996...by August was having suicide ideation, periods of depression and mania, excessive drinking of alcohol, periods of granduer, no sleep, sexual ideation, tardive diskenesia,, memory loss to this day, etc. The Doctors wouldn't listen to me saying he wasn't like this before.

Lexapro gave me permanent brain damage from a severe adverse reaction.

Through personal experience, I feel these products are toxic, and the medical profession & public should be batter informed. I should have been well,on my way to a good recovery by now; instead, I feel like I'm living a half life.

I would say that considering I can't get off this..and higher doses make me want to kill myself...this drug SHOULD BE BANNED!!

Survivor barely These drugs are harder than heroin to stop but they are given out like candy. My retirement years are ruined, I'm only 56.

My life will never be the same because of these drugs. All the people who are injured deserve some kind of justice. It's truly astounding how damaging these drugs can be and that the FDA allows it!
