20 years of control and now I’m taking my mind and life back

These drugs are awful and drs keep pushing them on patients even when told the patient doesn’t like how they feel on them

Drug companies brain wash doctors in training to think these drugs help. What doctors need to be trained in is how to treat the root cause not prescribe these harmful drugs. Those of us that have big pharma damaged family members and have done the research know these supposed anti depressants make things much worse and are very difficult to come off. I know Pharma companies do not live by the Hippocratic oath but they literally train doctors to BREAK the Hippocratic oath as when they prescribe these drugs doctors are definitely causing harm. I have been off work almost 5 years now trying to get better and M.D's and big pharma are of little value in health care. Doctors need to be trained to look at the cause not hide symptoms with drugs that make things so much worse.

After 15 years on Effexor, titrated off under supervision of psychiatrist in 2012. Withdrawals were horrific &included 24/7 terror. Was diagnosed with PTSD as a result of Effexor withdrawals. NEVER RECOVERED. Seen 6 psychiatrists and tried over one dozen medications. Ineffective. Lost my career and suffer from Anhedonia and treatment resistant depression. On Disability as my brain and life have been destroyed by Effexor. Fight suicidal ideation daily. Was NEVER suicidal before Effexor withdrawal.

Effexor should be illegal , it almost killed me twice

The horrible side effects of Effexor withdrawal have effected my life for over 10 years. I’m not off work so that I can finally be free of this toxin and deal with depression and anxiety in a healthy way, not a health-destroying way.

Compensation for all the patient who has been prescibed these drugs

Prozac, lexapro, clonapin are some ive used and two of them for at least a decade befor i quit cold turkey. Let me tell you about my nightmare...

My eyesight started to deteriorate after being put on seroquel. I was put on mega doses of seroquel up to 1300mg and suffered akathisia/ extreme agitation and restlessness. I could barely walk was bent over at a 90 degree angle from how terrible this drug was making me feel. It was mental and physical torture, for roughly 2 months. I honestly dont know how I survived. The torture didnt stop untiI a nurse yelled at the psychiatrist. I also had a severe dystonic reaction to respiradone. Olanzapine knocked the nerve in my neck out so I literally could not hold my own head up without a neck brace. This happened after the very first time I was coerced into taking it and they continued to force me to take it for 3 or 4 weeks and refused to let me see a neurologist. Again I do not know how I am even alive after this. I truly thought I would never wake up after the first time I took this drug.

These drugs ruin lives and until recently there was no real informed consent as unsuspecting people were not informed about withdrawal or given the necessary support. This should be criminal as its hugely damaging to lives.

All carcinogenic drugs lobotomisimg peoples brains. Drugs used to profit criminal manufacturers and work as dumbing down society

They need to be held responsible for the damage they have done and continue to do to innocent people!

I nearly lost my like. Hypothyroidism misdiagnosed as “anxiety” with two of these given as wrong treatment nearly killed me.

Had my life destroyed, after seeking help for circumstantial depression. A lot more to this story, as I know for a fact, backed with evidence, that there were intentions to cause damage to me.

I have suffered many of these adverse effects from psychotropic drugs. It was a living hell. Many of my friends have also.
