ive been on lorazepam fir 48 years, in the last year zive had doctors holding me to ransom to reduce im off tge lorazepam but in diazeoam which are ni way helping me amd they are hiunding me month after month to reduce the ddise. im st the end of my tether plea let me join yur action.

Have severe sexual dysfunction that did not resolve upon discontinuation like a lot of Drs state. It actually significantly intensified upon stopping. I also suffer from short term memory issues such as remembering tasks, and have a hard time feeling certain emotions the same.

According to my doctor, the prolonged use of lorazepam (Ativan) over 20 years has caused my dementia.

I have memory loss from Zoloft I was taking for 20 years.

I want to sue the manufacturers of Ativan. The withdrawals left me out of work for a year. Left me scrambling between hospitals the entire time. The physical pain nightmares SEVERELY PAINFUL insomnia. Nothing can be closer to hell than this. Nothing! Depleted my savings cost me my marriage and nearly took my own life. The doctors need to try what they are prescribing and I am sure this would never be prescribed. It is barring any bias satan in a tablet.

I found out about the severe withdrawal symptoms when I got the flu and could not figure out why I still felt sick after 3 days. I had to leave work and as I walked to my car, it dawned on me that I hadn’t taken the effexor the last three days. I can tell you the brain zaps just about knocked me off my feet at the grocery store. This is the scariest experience as far as these withdrawal symptoms. Im trying to figure out when to start the process of stopping. I will experience times of disabling symptoms as i proceed. Its literally a life threatening toxic drug. There is literally no excuse for the reckless manner in which this drug got approved for sale. Its definitely up their in terms of crimes against humanity. If for some reason, people could not take this medicine, (something that breaks the supply chain or natural disaster or war, etc), the ‘effexor withdrawal pandemic’ , would put this country in a state of emergency. The hospitals and health facilities will get inundated with emergencies from the withdrawals and effect access to for all to health resources. And it could be world wide. Its that bad.

I've had complete sexual dysfunction and emotional blunting during citalopram and this has persisted in the 8 years since coming off the drug. PSSD puts a person through awful suffering. I never had any sexual dysfunction when suffering depression. It's long overdue that governments and medical people started to listen to what people are saying about these awful drugs! Depression and anxiety can be managed and cured by a healthy lifestyle and diet, and cognitive behavioural therapy. There is NO NEED to push these drugs on innocent people.
