Class Action Lawsuit Against Manufacturers of Celexa, Prozac, Zoloft, Effexor, Lexapro, Paxil, Seroquel and Ativan

You need to specifically add severe and protracted withdrawal effects to that list of harms.

Years of SSRI left me with serial disfunction and severe insomnia. Insomnia so bad last provider could not adequately help, and then dropped me from all medication abruptly including benzodiazapines with no weaning period. The drug inactivity was exasperated by an "accidental" overprescription of 1800 mg / 30 day script of Valium by BHSN after I resumed medication with BHSN. I had been in a burn unit following Auto accident. So I really have 2 cases: long term SSRI usage side effects and improper prescription practices by BHSN.

I took Escitalopram(Lexapro)....and only a 30 day prescription, before my psychiatrist prescribed me 3 additional medications (respirodone(1pill), lamotrigine(1pill) and Trazadone(3 pills) a day. I had started having the "auditory hallucinations"/"suicidal thoughts" with the ending script of Lexapro....she told me to take those pills and in the morning I would be fine. I took the respirodone and the lamotrigine....and only for that 1 night.....the respirodone worsened the symptoms and I was pretty much on my death bed....alot of "weird" things started happening around me that people tried to say was a manic episode of some sort...but what I experienced was ANYTHING but a hallucination! I'm just now getting my mind back right....

I now have TD because of celexa and trazadone and my whole life has been ruined and I cannot find a lawyer to help me. I am unable to even work after owning two businesses for 14 yrs and can not longer provide for my family because these medicines have caused this horrible neurological disorder that impairs most of my daily life now.

Effexor is awful and addicting. I cannot get off this. I have tried and I became ill and could not function

Tried over 7 times to come off Effexor xr...would start to take them again as I thought I had relapsed...recently found out about tapering safely and how difficult this drug is to stop taking .

My son was prescribed zoloft at college and he was ok before taking it 8 weeks in now ans he jad a severe reaction with this drug that has put him in a mental hospital. It caused manic episodes, talk of self harm, paranoid behavior, and he would not eat. He just wanted help with anxiety now he is hospitalized. This drug has almost killed him.

Getting off this medication is hell. Symptoms are worse than the reason for the medication. They say it’s not addictive, but when you’re afraid to come off of it, it makes it seem addictive.

Side effects. Development of Parkinson

Effexor and Paxil have both has a traumatic effect on my nervous system and my life. I was never told that these Anti depressants could become addictive therefore very hard to get off.

5 years and counting after weaning off and still experiencing symptoms. Can’t work or enjoy life at all. Absolutely debilitating day in and out

I had never experienced any manic episode symptoms until I took lexapro and was later misdiagnosed bipolar because of it

Something needs to be done to stop this .

I have, and currently still suffering from SSRIs. The akathisia is making me feel crazy. My hope and prayers are with you and that you can put a stop to this and make them be held responsible for destroying so many people and their families.

I was given these drugs 12-17 I’m now completely chemically castrated

I was severely injured from lexapro because no doctor informed me for Protracted Withdrawal and long term use harm...I reistated 4 times.
