Hundreds of thousands sick. Thousands of people dead. Society is shut down, few people deemed “essential” are working while many are not. All this due to a fast spreading virus that is crippling our healthcare system and putting our loved ones who volunteered to take care of the sick, not be martyrs at risk.

Imagine, if you will, yourself about to be deployed into a war zone. A war zone filled with highly explosive materials and rapid gunfire. Explosions going off everywhere, bodies and body parts all over the ground. Now imagine yourself, being under attack at your base inside that war zone. The attackers are getting closer to your base and you reach for your weapon to defend yourself, you grab it, aim it and pull the trigger to defend against those bad guys...and....water comes out. Turns out your weapon, although disguised to look like it can do the job, actually does little to defend you against those bad people.

This must be the way our frontline healthcare workers feel when they go into these rooms filled with very sick people. These rooms are their war zones. Their PPE are their weapons. And that is something they dont have. Instead of giving our workers masks and gloves and face-shields, they are instead being told to wear bandannas, or reuse their old masks or even worse wear masks that are given to construction workers. No knock against them, but those masks are to keep out dust...not life threatening germs. These standards were set by the CDC due to their lack of preparedness, they are now scrambling to figure something out. So they are telling our heros that a bandanna is an approved method of PPE.

Imagine, a healthcare system that overcharges for its services that refuses to spend extra money to have extra PPE for the people who choose to mend the ill?

Imagine a healthcare system that instead of protecting their workers are instead interested in protecting their pockets?

My solution is simple. Create a class action lawsuit against the CDC and the entire healthcare industry for refusing to properly protect their frontline workers. For refusing to spend the money they had to purchase extra materials but rather spend it take an extra vacation.

if you are a lawyer, please highly consider taking this case on. These people are heros, and they deserve to be treated like so.

They are NOT refusing to go in and help.

THEY KNOW WHAT THEY SIGNED UP FOR AND THEY DIDN'T SIGN UP TO GO TO WAR WITH A WATER GUN.
