We, the undersigned residents and property owners in Nuevo Meadows, were explicitly promised a 3.5-acre park as an integral part of the development plans by KB Home. This park was a significant factor in our decisions to purchase our homes, contributing to the value and quality of life within our community.
Despite KB's representations in marketing materials, sales agreements, community presentations, and potentially official development plans, this promised 3.5-acre park has never materialized. Years have passed, and the land designated for this amenity remains undeveloped or has been repurposed without the consent or adequate communication with the residents.
This failure by KB Homes to deliver on their promise constitutes a breach of contract, misrepresentation, and has negatively impacted our property values, our quality of life, and the overall character of our community. We relied on KB's commitment to provide this essential green space, and their failure to do so has caused significant detriment to the homeowners.
This petition calls for the initiation of a class action lawsuit against KB to demand they:
- Immediately develop the 3.5-acre park as originally promised and represented.
- Provide fair compensation to homeowners for the diminished property values and loss of amenity due to the missing park.

When we purchased our home, we were told by KB Home that the community would include multiple parks, including a 3.5-acre park. That was a key part of why we chose to buy here. Instead, we ended up with a small park and a patch of grass with cheap picnic tables—nothing close to what was promised. We weren’t just misled, we were lied to in order to get us to purchase the home. I’m signing this lawsuit because I want to be compensated for the false promises and the value we were denied.
This is one of the reason why we buy the house here, for my kids can play in the park.

It is extremely disappointing to NOT have a communal space that was promised. We, as a family, looked forward to sharing that space with our neighbors to have a sense of community in an already divided world. This is the perfect definition of ‘False Advertisement.’ I hope KB Home does the right thing.
Cracked tiles, cracked shower tub, shotty electrical, nails backing out.
Not enough pride flags we need more support for our gay community and build us a park for us to protest at.
