We, the undersigned, petition to re-evaluate the process on which decisions are made and executed by the mesa. The specific purpose being, our shared desire to maintain the rules of the past years and the reassurance of any changes to be openly addressed and agreed upon by the general public. The following members petition against the new rules applied to the Figura Lines and request re-evaluation before rules are established.

As members of this community and this group, we have all seen the growth of other fraternities and their figura lines. With this sprout of competition we should not begin to exclude our own members who are willing to shine as proud Simones. These new rules restrict our own members and only benefit the ones who are and have been members for countless years. With such a huge selection of fraternities and filas to choose from we shouldn't exclude our own members, rather we should band together and practice! We need to show that we are the best! We are the strongest! And together we can prove it time and time again!

We should not limit opportunity. Because without it where would we be? Without opportunity there will be no new guias, no new sub-guias, no new achachis or chinas or juchuys. Is that what we really want? How can we say we're the best when our best aren't given the chance to shine? We, the undersigned, believe in opportunity and the equal chance to prove ourselves.
