Clare's Law Alberta - Help Prevent Domestic Violence

This is so very needed in all of Canada.

This is an extremely needed law in Canada. Too many women fall victim to monsters such as this, and why, all in the name to protect the monsters, who deserve nothing in this lifetime!

Automatic parole needs to go for this kind of charge. 13 previous assault charges! The law needs to change! Previous charges need to be brought up in trials. And disclosure to potential partners of their past by police needs to be opened up.

Protect women and men from criminals who are predators, and provide information to protect and empower potential victims.

My mother and her mother before her, were severely physically abused by their significant others.

I hope you can get this law in canada it would have alot of peoples lifes

People like this should not be allowed out until they go through a rehabilitation process and continue to have regular counseling. 2 years is NOT nearly enough.

Please don’t let high risk offenders out until you know the public is safe. My son and girlfriend just moved to Calgary, Now worried about them and other family.... with him living in Calgary.

Clare’s Law is not gender biased- anyone with a domestic violent past should fall under the legislation; but I can’t help but wonder if the shoe was on the other foot how quick it would take the guys to get such protection in place????

Would be so helpful to women and can prevent abuse.
