John Kasich kept above all the name-calling and other antics during the primary season, and he did not gain the nomination. I do hope our candidates will keep it civil, stick to the facts and hold themselves to a higher standard than they did during the primaries.

Yes, it's time to insist that electoral dialog rises to a dignified level. Accusatory and back-biting language degrades the electoral process and accomplishes nothing.

Thank you for taking a stand for civility. There has been way too much unfriendly banter and name calling from people we are supposed to be looking to for direction.
