The emails pouring into my inbox are heavy with personal stories that remind me why this fight feels so long. It is exhausting to keep pushing when the doors stay closed but I am not turning back yet. We are waiting for the next move from the Parliament and will hold our ground until they listen.

equality is not a scary thing. let them have the same rights as everyone else.
been waiting for this for so long. please just make it happen already.
Everyone deserves the same legal protections. stop dragging this out.
finally some good news for my friends. hope this passes quickly.
LONG OVERDUE. This is basic fairness for so many couples who have been waiting years for this.

Its about time Queensland caught up with the rest of the country. love is love honestly.
