Dear Sir,

PETITION TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE PROGRESS REPORT ON THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN CIVIL AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT STAFF ASSOCIATION, GHANA, AND THE GOVERNMENT OF GHANA ON THE NEW SALARY STRUCTURE AND OTHER CONDITIONS OF SERVICES

We the undersigned signatures write on behalf of members of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana who care about the TRUTH to respectfully seek clarification on the progress report regarding the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana, and the Government of Ghana regarding the new salary structure and other conditions of services, as per your letter dated 24th January 2022.

As active and concerned members of the Association, we value transparency, accountability, and effective communication between the association's leadership and its members. The issues addressed in the aforementioned MOU are of significant importance to all staff members, and we believe that it is essential to be kept informed about the progress and developments in the implementation of the new salary structure and other conditions of services as outlined in the agreement.

We respectfully request the following actions from the leadership of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association - Ghana:

1. Provide a detailed update on the current status of the MOU and the progress made in implementing the new salary structure and other conditions of services.

2. Share the process report outlining the steps taken, challenges faced, and any achievements or milestones reached since the signing of the MOU.

3. Organize a meeting or forum where members can engage with association leaders to discuss the MOU, seek clarification on any issues, and provide input or feedback on the process.

We believe that open and transparent communication is essential for fostering trust, accountability, and collaboration within the Association.

We trust that the leadership of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association-Ghana will consider our request and provide the necessary information and updates promptly.
