Whereas the citizens of Lake Park, Georgia had an election on November 8, 2011 for the election of a Mayor and four Council seats, and whereas the people had an expectation of being represented, and whereas, upon swearing in on Tuesday, January 3 2012 the crucial appointed positions of City Clerk, Police Chief, and Fire Chief were upseated without input by the citizens and with premeditation and malice aforethought, this petition for the recall of the vote is signed. We ask that all positions be immediately terminated and a new election be held.
