I think it's time we take care of this immigration problem. We keep making
the same mistakes over and over.

Wall discouragers are a reflection of Liberals in General. They want to dictate "Compassion" to us. They order that we allow foreign criminals to be in our neighborhood, and do nothing about the drug importing cartels--that are killing our citizens. All the time, they live in gated, secured communities, un- affected by their dictates . The RIGHT thing to do is often a hard choice, but a necessary one. BUILD THE WALL

It is disgraceful for a city to use taxpayers dollars to voice their own agenda and opinion on a National issue already in play by the President of the United States, The Senate and House. A City Council and Mayor were elected to handle and work with the People of the city to make their City a better place to live, lower their taxes, create more jobs, and better roads. They need to remember why they were voted into their respective offices. We have enough crime here in our Country with all those coming here illegally no matter what their ethnicity is.

Elected city council representatives have no role in matters of federal governance, such as the border wall. And they have no right to spend Tempe taxpayer money on their own personal pet projects.

Council has no business wasting time in this frivolous posturing. This pretentious attempt at influencing will be ammunition at election time. They should try being this concerned about real issues facing Tempe, the most expensive city in the valley to live in.

It is not the role of city or state government to decide on immigration issies. That is a Federal role. Keep your liberal political agenda to yourself.

Do your job as a city council member. The sidewalks and streets in Tempe are crumbling, fix them and stay out of Federal issues.
