Don't use city funds to push your personal agenda on those of us who are opposed to you.

The Wall needs to be built. America needs a board.

The City of Tempe does not speak for me and others who are concerned with safety and how our tax dollars are being spent. Enough of this far-left agenda!

Tempe City Council needs to focus its energy and resource on local city issues. National security, immigration and border wall is purview of the federal government far beyond the capability, capacity, and resources of a city government.

Disgusting, more people that think they are above the law! No One, not even, The Tempe City Council has business going against the safety and security of "We The People" Nor Go Against the POTUS! and his want for National Security, for 'We The People".

There are enough issues in the City of Tempe (Union release time, underfunded pensions, ridiculous bike lane on McClintock, infiltration of residential neighborhoods by predatory coyotes, etc.) for the Mayor and Council to address without wasting time on empty, meaningless resolutions on issues over which they have absolutely no jurisdiction or control. Please do the job you were elected to do and stop the posturing and grandstanding.

I support our Boarder Patrol officers and many of them believe we need the wall.

the wall is constitutional for National Defense. We want it, and we want it now!

The Tempe City Council has no business getting involved in such an important national security issue especially when the majority of Americans support the wall in the interest of public safety. Tempe City Council only has authority over Tempe and is just playing partisan politics. Shame on them.

Concerned Tempe citizens: The Mayor and City Council have no business wasting valuable time attempting to pass a resolution on an issue that they have no control over whatsoever. They certainly have no business wasting time and valuable Tempe tax payer paid employees looking into National border wall costs. Their time must be better spent on what their job description is; concerns on City issues, passing policies, overseeing administrator's duties, showing fiscal responsibility working within the city budget and using reasonable and appropriate discretion as to when to levy city and property taxes. This is just inexcusable City Council POLITICAL POSTURING, and is merely an ill advised precursor toward moving solely toward a sanctuary city- clearly controversial to say the least. It should be interesting to see how the lone Republican that sits on the City Council votes on an unrelated city issue while there is a city council election pending. Further, one must ask why would the city council want to sabotage a Tempe small business effort to bid on a job if awarded, would be taxable income? Bob Barnes- Precinct Committeeman LD18

A nation without secure borders and sane visitor & immigration policies is No Nation at all! What does Tempe's charter say? If not addressed there, perhaps it should be amended...

It is disgusting when lawmakers side with lawbreakers against law abiding citizens!

This action by the city of Tempe is irresponsible as they won't protect me from criminals entering the country illegally. A wall is what the majority of Americans want. This is common sense, not elitist-sense.
