This skate park means the world to the kids that go here. It's their safe place, their second home, and their second family. It keeps them off the streets and out of trouble. It would be wrong to take that from them.

I was the head of the group S.k.a.t.i.n. that started the push for skate parks in Palm Bay an put on the first fund raiser that repaved the shuffle board courts an put in the lights an fences around the G.S.Z . An would personally love to see the city step up to the plate for this park like we had originally planed. The kids in that area need a spot to go to skateboard in peace without fear of being in trouble for it. Please reopen that park an while your at it build some more small skateam friendly areas in other city parks for the kids that live near them. That was the original plan a little something different in all the city parks so the local kids had something that the parents didn't have to drive them to. Come on Palm Bay let's do ithis for the kids. Cause the kids are the future.

I used to skate here all the time and even took up a spot on the skate team for a while. I still have major respect for dan and the park, and I hope all of this is resolved so kids from all around can continue to come and enjoy this park like I know I have.

My father sold skate shoes to this skate shop/park. I remember going in and seeing the looks of joy on kids faces closing this is not only crushing kids dreams but crushing their purpose.

I grew up skating his park, so many great memories. And I hope to make even more once the park re-opens.
