The City Of Newburgh is on the rise, and so is the number of residents with pets.
Walking your dog in Newburgh can be difficult, between the busy streets and littered, broken sidewalks.
Not to mention there are few places where a dog can stretch their legs in a leash free environment.
Not only would a Dog Park be inexpensive, there are also many places it can be located.
A dog park isn't only for your dogs mental health and exercise, it is also a place where members of the community can meet and share ideas.
Lets get as many people as we can to sign this petition so we can show the need and benefit of this in our community.

As a long-time dog owner and frequent dog park user, it is very important to enforce the rules and ensure all participants maintain a safe environment for all pets
A dog park would be great! So many good places in the Newburgh area that could be converted to get people outside and participating in the community.
As a Newburgh resident who resides in an apartment, it is hard for Milo (our dog) to find a place to exert his energy. Having a dog park where he can not only do that, but also socialize with other pet friends would be a project that is beneficial to our community.
Perfect place would be in front of the Foundry, next to Washington HQs Park. Big open lot not being used.
I’ve been wanting a Mewburgh dog park for so long. I would definitely utilize this and would be I to helping maintain this park or helping out in any way.

I feel the dog park can be just one step closer to a tighter community and encourage unity and familiarity amongst the citizens of Newburgh.
